I need an honest mechanic on the cheaper side

Here is the deal. My gf and I are breaking up and I'm about to practically be on the street. I need some minor work done on my side panel door (mirror) as soon as possible. I am open to private mechanics working out of their garage, or whatever. I don't want to cross state lines in current condition, because I don't only want to be safe but also don't want to be pulled over for any reasons. I'm hoping to find cheaper work and give someone some work vs. taking it in. Last mechanic shop kinda messed up my alignment. I also need brakes. If you can help, I'm looking to do this maybe like Tuesday. Thanks
