That is why we install new home windows and doors that can achieve all these requirements and more. POSITION DESCRIPTION • Enforce safety and installation standards. • Demonstrate work and safety procedures to new employees. • Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the construction of remodeling projects for Windows and Doors. • Organize job packets, plan work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. • Inspects work areas to determine type of work required and materials and equipment to be used. • Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements. • Communicate with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. • Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers. • Be the front-line of the production department, meet with customers, conduct reconstruction meetings, close-out projects and final walk through. • Maintains project/ job specific scheduling. • Coordinates installation materials drop offs/ pickups. • Verifies material orders (accuracy/amounts) • Interprets job orders to workers and assigns duties. • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of work. • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. • Maintains time and production records. • Performs activities of crew workers supervised as needed.
