Lead Guitarist looking to start A7X cover band to perform.

Description

To the point: I play Lead (and backing vocals if needed), I can play virtually anything up to and including things like Yngwie Malmsteen. There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance; rest assured I can be in no danger of seeing that line. I would like to find confident, like-minded musicians to put together a primarily A7X cover band. I would also like to include some Metallica among selective other things, with the intention of eventually progressing into original music. The purpose of headlining covers of A7X to start is for the sake of getting venues and showcasing our band before gradually introducing our own music. It's OK if you don't have experience playing live shows as long as you know you can play in time with other people. I'm 25 years old, and would prefer band mates between 18-30(5?). I live with one other (very mellow) person in a ~2200sq house, so I have sufficient space to accommodate practice without disturbing anyone. Since we're playing A7X primarily we obviously need: -A competent rhythm player: Zacky Vengance doesn't quite get off as easy as most rhythm players. You don't have to be a walking God, but unless/until I can find a suitable harmonizer effect, you'll likely have to be able to player certain leads for harmony (like Bat Country for instance). -A bass player: I'm pretty sure this won't be too hard to fill. Bonus if you can do vocals. -A singer: I would prefer a rhythm or bassist that can do vocals, but beggars can not be choosers and therefore I will take what I can get. I just find it awkward to have someone on the stage doing nothing for long periods of time, but then again Robert Plant was pretty entertaining. -A drummer: Now I am NOT a drummer nor have I ever played the drums for more than 30 minutes, but if I were a betting man I would bet that the skill set of the drummers from Avenged Sevenfold is pretty f**king high. And I'm pretty sure I would win that bet. If you know you can nail A7X and Metallica songs consistently, by all means hmu. Now I'm not saying you have to own an American-made Gibson or Fender or $2000-$4000+ Custom Shop guitar or anything like that, but please have what you need to play live. I don't own a full blown tube amp but I could buy one at the drop of a hat the minute we have live shows lined up. If your guitar can stay in tune for a whole song at a time I don't care what it is, but you need an amp and whatever else (pedals/effects/etc), if anything, you need to be able to get a good sound. Please know how to find a decently similar tone to match the songs as needed. Contact me if this sounds like something you're interested in and we'll pick a day to meet up. I'm a really relaxed person, but for the sake of both sincerity and saving my own time, I'm just trying to be blunt in order to filter and narrow down to make sure I'm talking to the kind of person I need to right off the bat.
