Leonard is a 2.5 y/o Pitbull/Cane Corso male, neutered, all shots current. Very powerful and muscular and needs a STRONG and firm Alpha-type personality owner to help him maintain his parameters and obedience. He should not be in a home with any other animals. He does not realize how large he is and should not be in a home with children. He would be best with a strong male leader that understands these breeds (Mastiff, Molosser size dogs). Leonard's previous owner mistreated him, which led to a break in his front leg. His leg is fully healed, slightly bent, but does not slow him down at all. He loves 30 minute walks, catching his ball, chewing extra-strong Nylabones, and finding treats in his super-sized Kong Ball. During crate time he listens to classical music or Dog TV is left on. He is a beautiful boy and will absolutely not go to just any home. He will not go to anyone who has not had prior experience with his mix of breeds. Previous vet records are required to show former responsible pet ownership. A personal reference is required to confirm that any future owner of Leonard has not been involved in/charged with animal cruelty. There WILL be a rehoming fee. Leonard is not free. To reiterate: He will not go to just any home or to just anyone.
