Crew Leader needed for Landscape Gardening Crew A small, established, and growing landscaping and gardening company is looking for the right candidate to fulfill a position as a crew leader. The position is full time for 11 months a year. The candidate must have an Associates Degree or more in Horticulture OR at least 3 years experience working in ornamental gardens. Plant knowledge, ability to use hand tools and communication skills are a must. As a company, we work cheerfully outside all day, share a fascination with nature, work closely as a team, have a willingness to learn and are excellent communicators. The crew leader will lead, and work with the crew, performing the following tasks on a daily basis: mulching, weeding, raking, pruning, deadheading, planting, edging and hauling. The crew leader will also communicate regularly through the day with other crew leaders and management. The crew leader is responsible for thorough note taking throughout the day. The crew leader must have a valid drivers license, no serious traffic violations within the last 5 years, reliable transportation and the ability to drive a large work truck on a daily basis.
