Jury Focus Group (location is virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic) We need your assistance with a focus group concerning actual court cases going to trial. There will be a discussion followed by a deliberation of the evidence with the other participants. When: Thursday, February 11, 2021 Time: 1pm-4pm Where: Due to COVID-19 the Focus Group will be virtual. You must have a computer that is preferably hardwired to the internet (no cell phones, iPads, tablets, etc.). You must have a Zoom account- it’s free to sign up. Payment: $75 Requirements: *You must be a US citizen. *You must be at least 18 years old. *You must be a resident of Buncombe County *You must be eligible to vote just as someone who is called for regular jury duty. *You must have a valid North Carolina driver's license or State Issued ID. *You cannot be currently called for Jury Duty within the next 45 days. *NO CELL PHONES or TABLETS. You must have a computer that is preferably hardwired to the internet. *You must have a Zoom account. There are limited positions. ** If you would like to attend, please respond to this ad with your name and email address. We will be emailing you a set of questions and will choose participants from the questionnaire. Your answers to these questions are only for in-house purposes- we never sell or give away your personal information. ** A diverse group is needed such as different genders, races, and ages.
