Celebrating all women around the world with traditional tea ceremonies. Join us for a special tea ceremony as we begin to celebrate International Women's Day. Wen Raiti, who is from China and is now the owner of House of Leaf & Bean in Jacksonville, will prepare and serve traditional Chinese tea. Saji George, a private chef and caterer originally from India, will create and serve her very own chai recipe and share about the natural healing properties of different types of teas. Part of WeaveTales and Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville's Journey to Jacksonville exhibit series. -- Journey to Jacksonville Jacksonville residents and guests are invited to reconnect and learn about their refugee and immigrant neighbors through the Journey to Jacksonville exhibit, organized by WeaveTales and the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville. The exhibit will bring refugee and immigrant stories to life in a COVID-safe environment.
