Join us along with Steve Brubaker, former Chief Vision Officer at Water Street Ministries, as we discuss homelessness.
Join us for an honest, no holds barred, conversation on homelessness.
What’s the state of homelessness right now in Lancaster County?Who are the homeless? Why are they “living outside?” What are the best ways to support them and move them toward healthy habitation? What landmines are involved with homeless advocacy?Who should be helping, anyway?Steve has spent his professional career not only contemplating these kinds of questions, but also working on the front lines since 1996. His experience spans mission outreaches in Lancaster, York, and Philadelphia and includes urban church work as well as ministry with those in a condition of homelessness and addiction.
Due to COVID-19, our in-person seating is limited, however, the event will also be live streamed! If you decide to join us virtually, we ask that you still RSVP to receive the link to the live stream as well as make a suggested donation of $10.
If you're already a Row House Member, you are not expected to donate. Thanks for being a part of our mission
Note: Our original February Forum with Alain Weaver on the land of Palestine has been re-scheduled for June 17th.
Steve currently is a pastor of counseling at a local church. He graduated from McCaskey High School, Lancaster Bible College and Millersville University with an M.Ed. in Counselor Education. He is married to Kerry, has two married daughters, and resides in Lititz, PA.
