We are seeking an attentive, conscientious person who enjoys staying busy in a fast paced work environment. A Clean for Delivery person cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles as requested by management, ensuring a spotless delivery to the customer. They will also be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing customer vehicles as requested through the Service Department. Duties and Responsibilities Job duties may include but are not limited to: Washes exterior using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes. Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surfaces too protect surfaces and preserve shine. Vacuums interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris. Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Cleans engine and engine departments with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime. Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer. Taking vehicles to be refueled and/or running various business related errands as requested Cleaning bays and lots as requested Performs all duties in a safe manner following all company safety guidelines and policies. Performs other duties as requested or required. Qualifications Previous experience as a detail person is preferred. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to follow instructions. Applicants must have a spotless driving record and a cautious attitude when driving vehicles that are not theirs. Working Conditions Weather conditions may vary depending on the season. Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals safely. Physical Requirements Must be able to move about the complex in all weather conditions and be able to enter and exit most types of vehicles. Bending and twisting is required.
