Civility?

Description

Yes, those who support the man who spent years inciting his base to buy guns, train in pseudo militias and turned them into radicalized domestic terrorists are very polite and courteous and should be treated with our utmost respect. Those who support a Congresswoman who attacks Jews by saying they have a space laser to start wildfires, attacks the survivors and the parents of murdered school children, claims the Pentagon wasn't hit on 9/11, calls for the execution of the Speaker of the House, etc., are very nice people and their "civility" should be reciprocated. Those who deny medical science, those who refuse to follow advice from medical experts, those who refuse to wear a mask to protect their fellow citizens and throw an "uncivilized" fit in public, resorting to violence in many cases and even murder in others, should be responded to with politeness and courtesy. Civility, respect, politeness, courtesy, etc., need to be earned. If you think the North's fight against slavery was just as wrong as the South's fight for it, you have not earned any respect and will get none. If you think those who marched from Selma to Montgomery were just as wrong as the police who beat them on the Edmond Pettis bridge, you're not worthy of any politeness or courtesy. If you think the BLM protesters who protest for justice and equality were just as wrong as a bunch of sore losers who became radicalized domestic terrorists and committed treason in the name of lies, conspiracy theories and propaganda, you're a huge POS and have lost any entitlement to a civil response. PERIOD! It's a lie to say you're against slavery when you're also against the victims. It's a lie to say you're against the police brutality when you're also against the victims. It's a lie to say you're against the white nationalists/supremacist racists at the Capitol when you're also against the victims of racism. Spewing lies, hate, racism, propaganda, misinformation, xenophobia, etc., in a civil tone is NOT civility. It's a failed, passive aggressive attempt to hide the incivility. P.S. Now I'll wait for all the "civil" emails with threats of violence and even death to me and my family.
