Roxby Development Possible Team Member…. This isn’t your normal job posting. We are an eager development company in Wheeling, WV with several entities and many years of combined experience in the real estate and development industry. We have recently acquired a few magnificent and awe-inspiring buildings that are brimming with possibilities and we require team members that are the same. Our main focus for these positions will be the historical preservation and restoration of our buildings and others in the Wheeling area. What We HAVE: - Landmark and historic buildings - An architect - Several engineers - A handful of Masters that are eager to teach - Lots of tools - An onsite shop - Many Years of combined experience - Company housing and meals What we NEED: - Men & Women of all ages - Passionate about the trades and restoring old, classic buildings - Skilled, experienced leaders - Mid-skill, but eager to improve and learn - No skill, but willing to put in hard work to learn along the way - Located in the commuting area or willing to move to Wheeling - Able to work Mon-Fri 9:00am – 6:00pm with half hour lunch - Occasionally work later, and possibly on Saturday due to inclement weather on a weekday or to play catch up. More Specifically: We need qualified, loyal, and dedicated men and women to supplement our crew of about 20 and be involved in every aspect of these renovations. We will take Masters, mid-skills, or no-skills. But regardless of skill level, you must and we mean MUST be excited and passionate about what you do and take pride in your work. - Laborer Apprentices - Plasterers/Painters - Real (Old-World) Stucco People - Masons - A Plumber - A few good, general mechanical People - Tilers - Terra Cotta Roofers - Carpenters (Rough, Finish, & Shop) - Window Restorers Compensation: - Wage and structure will be determined by experience, ability, and involvement - Full time, Part time, and 1099 positions available - Assistance, advice, and training from a few Masters - Lunch provided - A passionate team environment - Training, Assistance, and opportunity to learn DO NOT RESPOND IF ANYTHING BELOW APPLIES: - Using Hard Drugs - Excessive Drinking - Unreliability - Flakiness - Bad Attitude - Non-Team Player - Negativity If you’ve made it this far, you have patience and are willing to invest your time and effort for the return of involvement in something wonderful and lasting.
