Professional horse training facility in search of qualified barn manager and stall cleaner. applicants must be willing and able to clean stalls (15) in addition to management duties and other facility related tasks. Candidates interested in applying must read this ad in its entirety. Ideal candidate must have RECENT and extensive experience with horses, knowledge of cleaning stalls, feeding, lunging, grooming and saddling multiple horses as well as management/leadership and office related tasks. Candidate must have reliable transportation with OPEN availability, and ideal candidate will be able to start within the next several weeks. Candidate must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis. This job is for those PASSIONATE about horses and familiar with the work entailed, it’s rewarding work for those that are passionate about horses, however this is not easy work. Must be able to multi-task, manage and hire staff, communicate well and be flexible and able to cope with a constantly evolving company. Candidate should be available to interview within a reasonable time period, same with start date! This job is very physically trying, and will require someone with the ability to multi-task, take charge, and must have an entrepreneural spirit. Sales experience preferred, opportunities for additional sales/commision income. Must be familiar with office related tasks, so computer experience is required, and strong social media/marketing skills preferred. Tractor experience a plus. Only candidates over 21 considered. Open availability required Again, must be physically able to complete the tasks required (heavy lifting, walking, occasionally *leaping or *running out of the way-not often but possible) This job is intended for a self starter, go getter, motivated, detailed and fit employee looking for a long term position in which to grow at a top notch training facility in the area.
