Our "freedom of speech" is destroying us

So I'm all for our rights and freedoms, but I along with others personally believe it's our media (our very freedom of speech), has come back to haunt and destroy us all. Fox news late night simply says whatever they want. Period. I'll turn on Hannity, Watters, or Tucker Carlson and within 5 minutes I change the channel every time. Yes we are free to speak, but we're not free to run into a crowded theater and yell "fire" when their is none. Hannity and Carlson with take a 1% truth and spin it into deep state conspiracy "theories", dark stories, fables and sub-plots, and "sell" it as 100% TRUTH without a shred of evidence or accuracy. Then tell you Trump and his followers are the ONLY ones that can save you from this "evil", even though they made it all up. Let me get this straight, you make garbage up (and it's always dark and negative), then you tell me a pathetically failed businessman and reality show host will save me? YES, and 75 million Americans believe them!! Brainwashing 101!! A reality show host is who you believe? And look, no one wants to say it especially me. No one wants to stoop this "low", but we do realize this is exactly what went on in Germany in the 1930's don't we? A propaganda "machine" that writes and publishes lies, BS, holds rallies, and speaks complete fabrications as 100% TRUTH. Sound familiar anyone? Non-stop "rallies" held by Trump, Ted Cruz and many others. I'd go so far as to say besides golfing that was our Presidents #1 agenda. To have more "rallies". Didn't anyone notice that? Doesn't that seem odd to say the least? That our "president" spent most of his time "campaigning", whipping up the crowds, spreading propaganda, lies, falsehoods and aligning himself with radical groups and Fox news? I'd suggest a lot of Americans could use to watch a few series on 1930's Germany, or read a book. Shocking the similarities. Oh sure, we identify that as "bad", but what's going on now is "good" in millions of peoples minds?. And by the way, before you jump to conclusions, I'm a life long card carrying Republican. Just that my values aren't for sale!!
