Under supervision of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, and preventative maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects for the apartment community. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for repairs and monthly maintenance budget monitoring. · Supervises and schedules maintenance activities for the apartment community and maintenance staff. · Monitors the schedule and completion of all service requests from residents and management. · Coordinates the schedule and preparation of the vacant apartments. · Ensures that all maintenance staff is adhering to Land & Company’s policy, procedures and safety measures. · Identify, correct and report all health and safety issues on the property. · Monitors the schedule and completion of all preventative maintenance on equipment, apartments and property. · Maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for repairs. · Managing the maintenance budget under the direction of the Property Manager. High school diploma or equivalent GED Must be able to pass a background check Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and running vehicle in good condition. Minimum 5 years’ experience in multi-family or commercial maintenance supervisor or lead technician. Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building trades Must be able to lift 50 pounds and transport appliances, climb a ladder, work with arms above head, stand for extended periods, bend at waist and be generally able in every way.
