This Position Starts March 1, 2021. The Day Porter performs manual labor associated with the cleaning of the lobby, restrooms, break areas, and entrances. Duties require moderate physical strength and stamina. Work includes dust mopping, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment. The performance of these duties is Monday - Friday Day shift (9am - 5pm) hours subject to change. Only at AZDES 1717 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ Apply at link below Regular Responsibilities include but not limited to: • All workstation surfaces disinfected immediately after a client has left the station • All workstations/office surfaces disinfected upon request (employee related) • All ring down phones are to be disinfected immediately after a client has left the phone • All doorknobs/panic hardware are to be disinfected (inside and out) • All lobby chairs are to be disinfected when vacated • All lobby tables/surfaces are to be disinfected • All lobby children’s areas are to be disinfected regularly • All vending machines surfaces are to be disinfected on a regular basis • All lobby computers, keyboard, mouse disinfected when vacant • All lobby doors (glass/wood) is to be disinfected and cleaned on a regular basis • All interior door hardware is to be disinfected regularly • Disinfect all frequently touched surfaces. • Additional cleaning duties as assigned • Normal day porter duties (including disinfecting all restrooms, break areas chairs and surfaces, partition doors and hardware, faucet hardware, flush valves) Requirements: Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions in the performance of the job Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisor and fellow workers Spearhead specialized projects which may or may not be directly related to cleaning. Knowledge in floor care for both carpet and hard floor Perform equipment and supply inventory at facility location Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written.
