Plant Land Garden Center is HIRING! Looking for an exciting career in the gardening industry? We are currently accepting applications for Full time or Part time SEASONAL employees. If you have enjoyed working in retail, have, or had a vegetable or flower garden, working on a farm, in a greenhouse, performed landscaping, sold plants in a Garden Center, been a greens-keeper, or interested in working in a fast-paced greenhouse, we would be interested in visiting with you. We are looking to hire individuals to start March 8. Applicants can stop in Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm to fill out an application or bring in a resume. Applicants will be transplanting March - April and then assisting customers in the greenhouses April thru July possibly August, depending on the season. **Applicants must be able to work EVERY Saturday, MOST Sundays (Sundays are April - June) and holidays. **Applicants will work 5 (full-time) or 3-4 (part-time) days, not necessarily in a row. **Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and able to carry 15-20 pounds repeatedly through the length of the greenhouses or outside. **Applicants must be able to demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor. **Applicants must have the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. **Applicants must have the ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time on concrete. **Applicants must be able to always represent Plant Land Garden Center in a courteous and professional manner. **Assist customers with garden questions and plant selection both in-store as well as over the phone. **Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task. **Able to work under any weather conditions that might occur throughout the seasons. **Participate in Staff Meetings **Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the greenhouse floors. **We are looking for full-time or part-time seasonal help. **Base Pay starts at $10 depending on applicants gardening knowledge.
