Police Identify Driver Killed In Weymouth Crash

WEYMOUTH, MA — Police have identified the driver killed in a single-car crash in Weymouth Sunday as 21-year-old Hans Familia of South Weymouth, reported The Patriot Ledger. The crash took place at approximately 1:05 a.m. near 525 Randolph St., where police believe Familia's 2020 Honda Accord veered off the road and hit a tree while traveling southbound. Familia was the only person in the car and pronounced dead at the scene by South Shore Hospital paramedics. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Weymouth and state police.
