Coach Retreats provide training and networking opportunities for AR-NICA coaches. The AR-NICA coach retreats are coming to locations throughout the state in the Spring of 2021. The first one will be at Park Springs Park in Bentonville. A great venue with a comfortable open-air pavilion and nearby trails. Saturday will consist of workshops and an afternoon guided ride. Workshops are intended to provide insight and organization for coaches as we lead into the 2021 season. Sunday will included either NICA On The Bike Skills 201 or NICA First Aid. Each day will begin at 8:30am. Please bring a notepad and pen. Morning coffee and mid-day lunch will be provided each day. In order to participate in the OTB 201 skills session on Sunday, participants shall have previously attended an OTB 101 skills session. NICA First-Aid is an 8-hour in-person course that will satisfy the requirement for Level 2 and 3 coach licensure. The course consists of an info session and mock emergency scenarios.
