This is a very fulfilling job where you can go home feeling good about the care you have given the dogs and cats. However, it is an active job with a lot of responsibility. In addition to watching and playing with the dogs, there is cleaning, laundry, feeding, administering medicine, customer service and some paperwork. This is a multi tasking job with a level of independent thinking and decision making. Also, you must enjoy lots and lots of dogs and cats, giving them attention and loving on them. You wont get bored here and your shift goes by very quick. Wages start at $12 an hour with raises, bonuses and vacation pay after a year.
