The Department of Public Works is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join its team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Skilled technical and laboring work in the DPW including operation of various equipment and vehicles necessary for the maintenance of Town roads and drainage infrastructure. Required to perform a wide variety of technical and physically demanding duties for extended periods of time, i.e. snow storms, water breaks. Qualifications and Experience: High School diplomaMassachusetts Class A Commercial Driver’s LicenseMassachusetts Class 2A Hoisting Engineer’s LicenseCORI check and mandatory drug testing upon hire Starting salary: $24.39/hour.
