Description
NATICK, MA — A former Natick arts and crafts store will now be home to a golf megastore.
A PGA TOUR Superstore is set to open on Saturday in Natick along Route 9. This is the PGA brand's 45th U.S. store, and is part of a larger expansion across the country since the chain reopened over the summer following the first wave of coronavirus.
The 34,000 square-foot Natick PGA store will feature all the golf products you would imagine, including shoes, a repair shop, clothes and technology items like rangefinders and GPS devices. The store will also feature a large indoor putting green, plus four golf course simulator stations.
The store is part of a retail shuffle along the Route 9 retail core at the Framingham-Natick border.
The PGA TOUR Superstore will be at 1398 Worcester Road, which used to be the home of a Michaels store. That craft store moved across Route 9 to Shoppers World in Framingham in November, taking the place of an A.C. Moore store. Shoppers World is also home to a new Hobby Lobby, which opened last December.
This is the PGA's third Massachusetts location after opening in Peabody and in Braintree.
Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the number of PGA Tour Superstores in the U.S.
