Create beautiful still life photographs using light, composition and post-processing to highlight your subjects of interest. Still Life Photography The beauty and symbolism of the still life spans centuries of painting and photography. In this class you will learn how to elevate simple subjects to a level of art with light, camera and computer. From the conceptual planning of which subjects to photograph, to the lighting and computer editing that add the final touches, you will leave with the knowledge to add beauty to almost any subject. Bring your camera and a short telephoto or macro lens to photograph examples in the studio. Example props will be provided. The class is limited to 6 people to allow for social distancing in the studio.  Face coverings are required.  What you will learn.  Lighting Learn how to direct light onto your still life subject to highlight it and bring a mood to the image. Photo Equipment Learn about the camera and lenses to use along with other peripheral equipment to incorporate into the final image Software Learn how to process the image into the final interpretation of your vision. Color manipulation and black & white options will be explored.
