House of Shine is Going to be a Teenager Join us on Thursday, February 18 between 10 am and 4 pm to celebrate our 13th birthday! We started as a blog in 2008 and have not stopped growing. Swing by and enjoy a delicious cupcake from Lisa Hernandez of Flour & Bloom and provide encouragement to an at-risk teen girl. You can do this by simply purchasing a journal (or two) and inscribe a few personal words of wisdom to inspire a teen girl participating in one of our upcoming journaling workshops. As a soon-to-be teenager, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate our birthday than to share your gift with these girls as they experience the power of journaling.
