All current college students are invited to participate in this FREE local weightlifting meet held in Austin, TX. Must be a USAW member. The Texas Collegegiate Invitational is the first event organized by the Texas Collegiate Weightlifitng Conference in an effort to encourage college participation in the sport of weightlifting and introduce intercollegiate competiton in Texas. The intent of this meet is to invite every college weightlifter in the state of Texas to gather together for a single weightlifting competition. This event will be held in advance of the fall rollout of the Texas Collegiate Weightlifting Conference's inaugural season. 1st - 3rd place overall awards will be given based on Sinclair for each of the following divisions: Open Female & Open Male Underclassman Female & Underclassman Male Upperclassman Female & Upperclassman Male Graduate Student Female & Graduate Student Male This event will feature a full electronic scoring system, and IWF certified equipment. USAW membership is required.
