Hosted by Black 2 Life. FEBRUARY SAT 13th from 4:30pm- 7:00pm BLACK 2 Life nonprofit organization wil have a movie night to see the upcoming film Judas & The Black Messiah. The slots are open to 25 high school students grades 9-12. Social distancing will be enforced and masks must be worn. The film is rated R due to violence and language but it’s historical value is very important. Students signing up to see the film must get a permission slip signed by your parent or legal guardian. SUMMARY OF FILM Judas and the Black Messiah is an upcoming American biographical drama film directed and produced by Shaka King, from a screenplay written by King and Will Berson, based on a story by King, Berson, and Kenny and Keith Lucas. The film details the life of Fred Hampton, chairman of the Black Panther Party in the late 1960s, and his betrayal at the hands of William O'Neal. The film stars Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield as Hampton and O'Neal, respectively, with Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, and Martin Sheen also starring.
