"Peanut Butter and Jelly" Beer Release in collaboration with I Love Banana Bread Co. BBA Imperial Stout and Raspberry Berliner Weisse We based these beers on the beloved, household, childhood memories of devouring PB&J sandwiches. We took a full dive into that confectionary memory and enhanced the sweetness of this base Imperial Stout with peanut butter, marshmallow, and banana (aka a fluffernutter). We also dug into our barrel inventory and hand-selected another Imperial Stout aged in a Woodford Reserve barrel for 3 years to kick up the richness. However, we didn't want to stop there. We decided to add the contrasting acidity and jamminess of jelly with a Raspberry Berliner Weisse to be paired alongside the rich stout. We teamed up with local baker Cathy de Leon of "I Love Banana Bread" to concoct a bread, to later be tossed into our beer, that captured all of those precious memories in a single loaf. Cathy blew our minds with her baking capabilities and you can actually purchase her delicious mini breads to pair with the beers themselves. We can't tell you what to do with your beer, enjoy it however you like, but we highly recommend you join us on a journey down memory lane...Open a can of each beer and mix them in equal parts to effectively become a professional mixologist while simultaneously throwing it back to the elementary school, lunchbox days, packed with homemade PB&J sandwiches. These beers are meant to be enjoyed two separate ways. They can each stand on their own as great beers with interesting flavor components. Our recommendation is to enjoy them together. Grab any glass (tulip or snifter recommended) and pour equal parts of each into that glass. Get creative! You're the mixologist.
