HARFORD COUNTY, MD — After Gov. Larry Hogan announced his plan to allow restaurants and bars to serve customers after 10 p.m., County Executive Barry Glassman said he plans to follow suit. "As has been our policy, Harford County will continue to safely reopen to the fullest extent permitted by Gov. Hogan, and we will follow today's announcement allowing restaurants and bars to resume service after 10 p.m. starting Monday," Glassman said in a statement Thursday. The announcements by Hogan and Glassman came as Harford County promotes its restaurants as part of a winter push to encourage dining local. "This week also happens to be Harford County Restaurant Week, and I encourage Marylanders to support our great local restaurants this week and beyond," Glassman said. Harford County Restaurant Week runs from Jan. 22 to Jan. 31 and offers diners the opportunity to try different restaurants or patronize their favorites, with fixed-price menus.
