NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck fire officials released an update concerning the borough's vaccination clinic.
"Due to a shortage of vaccinations distributed to Waterbury Hospital our site will be closed today Friday 1/29, Monday 2/1 and Tuesday 2/2," officials said on social media. "We will honor all appointments that have been canceled on the days we are open next week. We plan to reopen on Wednesday 2/3. We understand that this can be very frustrating."
"Not receiving the amount of vaccines from the state that the VAMS site takes appointments for is out of both the clinic & Waterbury Hospitals control,"local officials said. "There is the option to change your appointment to another clinic through the VAMS site.
The Covid-19 Vaccine Appointment Assistance line is 877-918-2224.
"We continue to to do the best we possibly can with the resources we have to keep everyone updated and informed. Thank you for your patience and understanding," officials said.
Naugatuck's vaccine clinic is located at the Naugatuck Armory, 543 Rubber Ave.
