DENVER, CO — Colorado retail and grocery stores have strict cleaning procedures and coronavirus safety measures in place; however, many businesses are dealing with ongoing outbreaks due to the number of people who shop in person each week. Some outbreaks — particularly those in Colorado's largest box stores — have lasted more than a month since they were first detected. If you're concerned about contracting the virus and grocery delivery services aren't an option for you, washing your hands as frequently as possible, social distancing and wearing a mask will go a long way in protecting you in stores, health officials said.
