Highway City cleanup along Polk Ave between Shaw and Gettysburg Beautify Fresno, Clean Fresno, and the Highway City Community Development Corporation are hosting a cleanup event on Saturday, February 27, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in Highway City. The event will clean up along Polk Avenue, between Shaw Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue. Volunteers will meet at the Granville-Teague Community Resource Center - 4718 N. Polk Ave., at 9:45 a.m. to sign in and for orientation. Beautify Fresno will provide safety vests, paper pickers, gloves and trash bags, along with pre-packaged snacks and bottled water. In an effort to keep you safe during this pandemic, Beautify Fresno will follow guidance from our national advisors at Keep America Beautiful, as well as all health and safety protocols from the CDC and the Fresno County Department of Public Health.
