During this beginner friendly class we will focus on all things pelvis! This will include hips, hamstrings and glutes. SPLITS HERE WE COME!
This class will begin with a short warm up followed by a series of static stretches. These stretches will cover the lower half of our body targeting every muscle dealing with splits. We will go through a series of stretches where each stretch will be held for 45 seconds to a minute up to three times (modifications will be provided if needed).
Stretching plays a large part in the body’s flexibility, mobility, blood flow, posture, stress and quality of life. This beginner friendly class is open to all flexibility levels. Hopefully you will leave this class feeling limber, loose and a little bit closer to the ground in your splits!
Although this class is suitable for all levels, some stretches you may find quite challenging but they can be done. As we know, splits aren't easy! Each stretch is specifically tailored to advancing you in your split.
