UCSD Men's Basketball Games With LBSU Canceled Amid COVID-19 Test

SAN DIEGO — UC San Diego's road men's basketball game scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to a positive test within Long Beach State's program. The positive test also forced cancellation of Friday's game between the two teams and for the Beach to begin its second two-week pause of all team activities. The Tritons are set to resume play Sunday by playing at UC Riverside in a nonconference game against the fellow Big West Conference member that was scheduled Friday, hours after the cancellations of the games against Long Beach State. —City News Service
