Description

Press release from the City of Missoula: January 27, 2021 Beginning with the February billing cycle, all charges for City water, sewer (wastewater), and storm water utilities will appear on one convenient, combined utility bill. Sewer customers will no longer receive a separate wastewater bill every 6 months (every 3 months for commercial customers). Some benefits to our utility customers include: Sewer charges are assessed for only one month of service per bill instead of six months; Customers receive only one monthly bill to pay for all City utility charges; Payment options are available that were not previously available for wastewater bill payments (direct debit, paperless billing); and Customers can now view their utility bill online for water, wastewater, and storm water charges. Customers will be charged for only the water, storm water, and wastewater services they are currently signed up for. More information on combined billing and a sample utility bill, the utility rate schedule, and all bill payment options, are available at http://www.ci.missoula.mt.us/2716/Pay-Your-Utility-Bill. For questions about your utility bill, please call (406) 522-6700. This press release was produced by the City of Missoula. The views expressed here are the author's own.
