new wave/Indie/alternative rock project in search of vocalist

Hello, During quarantine I started a DIY music project to curb the loss of my ambition due to COVID-19 fueled depression. After moving back to Syracuse late last year, I pieced together a modest, but perfectly great home studio so that a guitar player friend of mine could share this project with me. I'm primarily a guitar player, but I've been adding some synthesizer and bass to some of our (currently 7) songs in progress. All drums have been and will be programmed. I can send a reference if necessary. As self-expressive and isolated this project has been for us- and as much as I'd like to record the vocals myself- I'm just not a singer. With that said, we're looking for a vocalist to join this group. If you happen to play Bass guitar as well, that would be even better. This is an intimate, vulnerable and close-knit space we're working in and it's absolutely necessary that you are a level-minded, chill, creative person with a sense of humor. We're both eccentric introverts with no time for surface-level relationships or irrational behavior. You'd be as much a part of this project as either of us and we'd hope to call you a new homie. We're both 29, we have what's necessary to complete an album at the quaint studio in my home and we're doing this with full intent on releasing an album and playing gigs once there's herd immunity and this shit is really over. Again, we're close friends and so are our partners. We get together regularly and hang out at my place and we're more than happy to have you if you're a genuine person. This is starting to sound like an application for a new friend, but genuinely, that's a part of the gig. We'd so much rather have someone who isn't much of a singer, but has a nice voice and is nice to have around, than an insufferable person with loads of talent. If you're: -21-33 years old -Are okay with being creatively and emotionally vulnerable. -Have been responsible with COVID-19. -Dig indie/alternative/new wave and think you could bring something sweet to the project (Think Talking Heads, --Beach Fossils, Hers, King Krule, Dinosaur Jr., New Order, The Fixx, Built to Spill, The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Echo & the Bunnymen, Beach Bunny, Snail mail, etc.) then reach out to me via text or email and we'll talk.
