LA GRANGE, IL — The La Grange Police Department released its latest blotter. Here is information from the police reports: Devantae Stewart, 26, of Countryside, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22 on a charge of disorderly conduct. According to a police report, Stewart was involved in a road rage incident with another driver near Lincoln and Washington avenues. Several pieces of jewelry were reported missing Sunday from a house in the 200 block of Sixth Avenue. The resident didn't recall when the items were last seen in the house. The items included two diamond rings, a gold pocket watch and a diamond brooch. Stephanie Cooper Fowler, 37, of Berwyn, was cited about 10:30 a.m. Thursday on a charge of retail theft. She was accused of taking several items from Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road. The items included detergents and body washes totaling about $81. The theft was reported Monday. Several pieces of scaffolding equipment were stolen from a house under construction in the 1000 block of South Madison Avenue. The owner does not know whether the equipment was stolen or removed from the property by the contractor. The equipment was valued at $3,000. The crime was reported Monday. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
