Players must tryout and receive an invitation to be in the Development Plus program.
The developmental plus league is designed for players who are ready to compete in organized games or tournament play. These players have spent the necessary time acquiring the fundamentals required to compete in an environment with officials and fans.
During the twenty-two (22) training or practice sessions, players will participate in individual skill development stations, skills challenges and a mixture of competitive, half court 3 on 3, full court 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 games designed to prepare for tournament play. The development plus league is eight (8) weeks in length and dedicated to helping youth athletes learn the game through a scaffolded teaching approach. At least 60 minutes of each session will consist of competitive scrimmages.
