If you've ever wanted to learn more about waist beads and make them for yourself, this workshop is for you.
Local waist bead artists Tamiko French(crystal energy) and Lydia London (traditional) along with Iya Fa'Dundunbi Leslie come together to share with you a time to build awareness around the beauty power and magic of our womb space by creating and wearing waist beads. We will learn from traditional waist bead artists the history of the practice. We will discuss how the practice can affect our sexual mental and physical health. And we will create together through instruction and personal exploration making our own waste beads.
If you've been wanting to learn about waist beads, or create waist beads for yourself this is the workshop for you. Your $10 rsvp reserves your space in the workshop, access to instruction and materials, as well as the discussion around the history and benefits of wearing waist beads.
For Zoom participants, you can have your own materials at home and join in on the discussion and instruction as well.
Space is limited to 17 persons for in-person attendance. These spots will go on a first come first serve basis. All other attendants will be live on zoom. And you will be able to observe instruction, also listen and contribute to the discussion.
All proceeds go toward the artists and the continuing of this womb wellness work.
