musician seeking to improve guitar skills

I am a late 50's male, retired and looking to improve my guitar playing skills by playing with others. I am new to this community and don't quite know where to start. I do have experience and can play maybe 100 songs. I do not consider myself very good and seeking someone maybe in similar circumstances or good and patient, willing to help someone along. Enjoy acoustic and electric, electric appeals to my nature, but love all music. As for me, I'm retired, responsible, married, raised 5 kids all grown and grandkids.
