Creator Info: Instruments of Hope is a fundraiser created by Joseph Bilbao, a senior at Christopher Columbus High School (CCHS) in Miami, FL to merge his passion of performing live music with the personal desire to raise funds for the SebastianStrong Foundation. "SebastianStrong is a foundation established and named in memory of Sebastian Ortiz. Sebastian was a sophomore at CCHS when he was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. He battled cancer and fought for every moment of his life until he passed away on December 29, 2016 at the age of sixteen. Sebastian was exceptional in every way, and his legacy, with the help of the foundation, is to bring light to the need for newer, safer, less toxic means of treating pediatric cancer. The goal of “Instruments of Hope” is to provide a safe outlet for young people to perform live music and use their talents to raise awareness for the need for advancements in pediatric medical research and treatments." -Joey Bilbao
