Just want to clear up a few of your claims: 1) Gas prices are about the same as last year at this time, before the pandemic. Yes, prices went way down because the economy crashed and folks were (are) not driving or flying. Many had their cars repossessed because they lost their jobs and couldn't make the payments. 1a). Hmmm, so you're claiming the unemployed are suddenly back to work, their cars returned, businesses are re-opened? Yeah ok. (Side note, people should take unemployment insurance on their vehicle loan if they don't have means to cover it) But prices were at 1.79 before the election, and now 2.15-2.49. What drives crude prices themselves is largely basic supply and demand. When the oil supply falls, prices go up because all the people who want oil are competing for a smaller amount. Prices also rise when demand goes up — that is, when there are more people competing for the oil that’s available. Similarly, when supply rises or demand falls, prices go down. 2) Job erase. Lordstown shuttered during the Trump presidency. When the plant does reopen for business it will be because it is going to produce electric trucks- jobs created by the Biden-led Green Initiative. And, where are all those coal mining jobs Trump promised Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania? 2a) So why did GM Lordstown close? Was it because they made a small compact car or because they made a truck) SUV? Was it because of the plant design that couldn't support a new vehicle line? Lmao. Yep Trump!! Now as far as the electric truck, time will tell..but they are a start up under trump... Lmao In 2018, US mines produced about 756 million short tons of coal, the majority of which (544 million short tons) was burned in coal-fired power plants to generate 966 billion kWh of electricity, about 24% of all electricity generated in the US. However, coal has largely fallen out of favor for electricity production as price declines in natural gas and, to a lesser extent, renewables have made it harder for coal plants to make money in electricity markets. The average US coal plant is now over 40 years old, and there is not a single commercial coal plant under construction in the country. Some scenarios have coal generation remaining flat for the next couple of decades, but most market fundamentals and societal goals indicate further declines. 3) I am still trying to find coverage of all these "illegals" storming the border. Can you provide links to that? Maybe they are all sneaking in at night when no one is looking? And, do you like being able to go to the grocery store and buy a head of lettuce for 99 cents? Thank a migrant worker. 3a) since you can't find anything https://nypost.com/2020/12/16/illegal-immigrant-caravans-back-on-the-way-biden-invited-them/ https://www.reuters.com/article/usa-biden-immigration-border-insight/bidens-pledges-could-spur-more-migration-but-in-a-pandemic-the-border-is-unprepared-idUKKBN28P1A1 https://www.elpasotimes.com/story/news/2021/01/29/border-patrol-joe-biden-immigration-covid-plan/ / https://www.walmart.com/grocery/ip/Iceberg-Lettuce/10402650?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=2197&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0o6kwOHE7gIVz_DACh13HA-YEAQYASABEgLv_vD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds 4) I assume that, since you are complaining about all the "give aways", that you sent your 2 government relief payment checks back? 4a): it’s a sum of money the feds are crediting to taxpayers for next tax season — except they are paying it right now, because millions need it right now, so no it's my tax dollars.
