Older, experienced guitarist/mandolinist testing the waters looking for another guitarist, mandolin, or bass player to collaborate with. Available as a sideman as well. Well versed in many genres of music from Bluegrass to Jazz to Swing. Good improvisation skills. Not looking to play a large percentage of mundane copy songs; looking to play music for the sake of creating good music for itself. Influences include Tony Rice, Brian Sutton, David Grier, Russ Barenberg, Mark O'Connor, Chris Thile, Adam Steffey, Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Alison Brown, Sharon Gilchrist, Jerry Douglas, Tim O'Brien, Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, Duane Allman, Django Reinhardt, John Scofield, Pat Metheny and a multitude of others.
