Looking for fun, affordable online guitar lessons? I'm available to teach students anywhere in the world via Skype! I've been playing guitar for 27 years, and teaching full-time for 16 years (including many Skype students). I received my BM in Jazz Studies from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2005, and since then, I've helped guitarists of all ages and experience levels reach their goals, in both private and group settings. I've also taught beginner through intermediate bass, as well as music theory and songwriting. Since guitar is 100% my livelihood and my passion, I put as much time and effort as humanly possible into helping my students develop their ability and voice on the instrument. What you'll get when you sign up from me is nothing less than my total dedication to guiding you in the most effective ways possible, regardless of where you are (if anywhere) in your pursuit of musicianship. If you're unsure of how effective online instruction will be, please rest assured; I've had great success with teaching all of my students - including absolute beginners - via Skype since the pandemic hit back in March. If you have a good internet connection, webcam and mic (both are usually built in to most laptops, tablets and phones), Skype is free and super easy to use. Also, since some prospective new students have been understandably a little unsure of how online lessons will go, I've been offering the first lesson as a free trial (no payment or commitment necessary until the 2nd lesson), so why not at least give it a shot?
