I just moved to KY from Upstate ny and would like to start an experimental funk type band... Something based on the old but is fresh and modern. I play guitar. Just need people who are open minded, willing to jam and are reliable. My influences are No Wave music, post punk, noise, electronic, funk, ambient, art rock, avant pop.. people who are into artists and bands like Brian Eno, david bowie, gang of four, sonic youth, theoretical girls, james Chance, dna, Neu!, Can, frank zappa, amon duul ii, pink floyd, john Cale, boards if canada, talk talk, radiohead, squarepusher.. I have many other influences, just message me and ask. I also have a band camp. I go by the name Heedless on there. I'd really would like to turn Heedless into a full band instead of a studio project and would like to work on a sound for that...otherwise I would like to start something new. Something that's right on the line of being weird and atonal as fuck but beautiful and conventional. I hope to hear from some people. Musicians of all instruments, please respond! I'm not picky. And idc if you are a female. I need serious musicians who what to do experimental music.
