This intensive explores, educates, and exposes coaches / athletes alike to different expressions and methods that produce strength. Our V23STRENGTH intensive explores and educates on different expressions, methods, and the universal principles that produce strength. Based around the squat, deadlift, and bench press, attendees will be exposed to both linear and conjugate methods, as well as accessory movements that are used at the highest levels of strength sport and physical capability. V23 STRENGTH wishes to break the dogmatic practices of only using certain lifts to express strength in specific areas. This is a HANDS ON course, where members will break down and deconstruct both the theoretical and "under the bar" application of: - Targeted Warm-ups - Squat Variations, Stance, high bar, low bar, single-leg. - Lower Body Accessories + Injury Prevention - Plyometrics for Explosive power and increased athleticism. - Application of Accommodating Resistance: Proper usage of chains/bands to influence force velocity curve leading to faster, more explosive athletes. - Bench Press: Pressing Mechanics, Upper Back Development, Shoulder Stability, Lockout Strength - Deadlift- conventional, sumo, stiff-leg. Hinging and posterior chain development. - Post-Activation Potentiation (theory) and Contrast Methods for influencing neuromuscular coordination and force production.
