Vaccine Registration Numbers Added To Everbridge Accounts

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota County has added vaccine account registration numbers to all accounts signed up through its new Everbridge coronavirus vaccine registration system, according to an email from Sarasota County Emergency Services. Those who have registered through Everbridge can view their number in the COVID-19 vaccine queue by logging into their Everbridge account. Their registration number is located next to their "account number" section, which they can find by scrolling down through their account, said Donn Patchen, SCES communications director, in a video released by the county. The registration numbers went live Thursday at noon. For new accounts, the registration number will be available the next day by 11 a.m., SCES said. Sarasota County's new Everbridge registration system can be found on the Sarasota DOH website. People can also register by calling 941-861-VAXS (8297). As doses become available in Sarasota County, vaccination appointments are being offered to those who previously registered through the county's new vaccination system, which creates a queue. Those registered to receive a vaccination, will remain on the list until they're vaccinated. When doses are available, they'll be contacted by the county to set up an appointment. Those who receive an appointment notification have two hours to confirm or decline it, according to an email from Sarasota County Emergency Services. If an individual declines an appointment, they won't lose their place in the queue. They'll be contacted for the next available vaccine clinic. If receiving notifications by phone, the call will come from 941-861-8297. Emails will come from the Department of Health in Sarasota County COVID-19 Vaccine Registration System using the email address [email protected]. And those notified by text will receive a messaged from the number 88911.
