This month, explore Valentine's Day with our grab-and-go activity kit! Reserve yours now; limit of 3 per household. Please reserve your activity kit using Eventbrite tickets.  You may reserve a maximum number of three kits per household.  Reserved activity kits may be picked up at the Museum this Saturday, 2/13, from 11 am. until 2 pm. After 2 pm. any remaining activity kits will become available to visitors on a first come, first served basis. When you arrive at the museum, please ring the doorbell and a staff member will deliver your reserved activity kits to you on the porch. Thank you! Event Description: Celebrate Valentine's Day with a collage-art activity kit that contains everything you need to make your own Valentine’s Day greeting card! Valentine's Day cards became popular during the Victorian-era (1837-1901) and used a secret language of pictures, colors, and flowers to send hidden messages to a loved one. Each kit will contain a blank card, lace, ribbon, flower images, and other materials, along with a guide to the secret meanings behind Victorian symbols and the hidden language of flowers (known as floriography). Let your own personal expression shine through when making your own custom card creation.
