Information on the causes of poverty through a different lens If you work with people who have low resources and/or you are interested in impacting people who live in poverty, we would like to invite you to one of the 2021 Bridges Out of Poverty Introduction sessions. Participants will receive information on the causes of poverty and the barriers faced by people working to move out of poverty into economic stability. The training will increase understanding of the role played by economic class differences among people and groups. This one-day training is at Breakthrough (Episcopal Social Services), 1010 N. Main, from 10 am to 3 pm, and includes free lunch. Donations are accepted for the $25 workbook (cash or check). Due to the necessity of group interaction to make this a successful learning experience, this training is not available on-line; however, for maximum social distancing, only 14 seats per class will be available.
