Description

BETHEL, CT — A local mother was charged with reckless endangerment after her 3-year-old daughter was found wandering outside alone with no shoes on. Bethel officers were called to Grassy Plain Street on Wednesday morning with a report of the unattended toddler walking down the sidewalk. The police apprehended Graciela Rojas-Amon, 44, after they say they had determined she "deliberately left her child unattended for a short period of time which resulted in the child leaving the residence." Police charged Rojas-Amon with second-degree reckless endangerment. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 29.
