It is a Covid Time in Foster City and many of us are bound to be at home office scenario, in other words you like me would love to take a walk on the sandy shore along the water. Refresh your lungs and mind, but there is a problem. Your and my access to the sandy shore in Foster city was blocked by Foster City Hall with a construction project. Of course, they accidently or conveniently forgot about your and my daily need to be on the sandy shore; walk with you wife, child, dog, see and listen to the birds and waves, for the next two years. Foster City forgot to make public access to the sandy shore during construction. If you disagreed with that, if you disagreed with additional unnecessary hardship, placed on you and your family. Together we can change that, residents deserve better, residents deserve respect. It is not difficult for City Hall to make public access to the sandy shore. Construction do not need all that area anyway. Construction is only ~50-70 ft wide strip and legitimate safety concern are inflated & grossly overstated. Join Coalition for the immediate [email protected]. Sorry, No revolution here, just a pleasant, quiet walk on the shore.
