Archaeology has played an important role both in the creation of Israeli and Jewish identity as well as in gentile perceptions of ancient (and modern) Israel/Palestine. In this talk, Dr. David Ilan will present ten of the most significant archaeological finds from Israel, starting with Prehistory and ending in late Antiquity. The discussion will also cover why each of these are important and relevant for us in the modern world.
